Adam Laroche blasted 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI as the Santa Fe Trailer Bitches
defeated the Langley Farm Team by the score of 11 to 7 at Trailer
Park.
Laroche enjoyed a great day at the plate. He slapped a base-hit in the 4th
inning, smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' in the 5th inning, doubled scoring a
run in the 7th inning and lofted a three-run 'big-fly' (his 3rd of the
season) in the 8th inning. Santa Fe ended up with 13 hits for the game while
Langley had 8.
The victory went to Buddy Carlyle(3-1) who went 2 innings, allowing 2 runs.
Brad Ziegler recorded the save, his 5th. Steven Shell(0-1) took the loss in
relief. His ERA increased from 2.87 to 4.24 as he allowed 3 runs in 1 and
1/3 innings.
'Actually, I didn't feel that comfortable at the plate today' Laroche said
after the game. 'Despite that, I'm happy with the results!
